Eligible EVs Now Come with a 1.00% p.a. Discount

Volkswagen Financial Services Australia is here to help you go electric, effortlessly. We’ve partnered with the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) to bring you smarter finance for your next EV. For a limited time, you’ll enjoy a 1.00% discount off the standard Consumer Loan or Chattel Mortgage rate,¹ with the CEFC contributing 0.50% towards this amount, when you finance an eligible EV model representing automotive brands within the Volkswagen Group through a Consumer Loan or Chattel Mortgage.

To qualify, your vehicle must be priced under $91,387 (including GST). The discount applies to the entire financed loan amount. However, eligibility for the discount is based on the vehicle’s retail price before add-ons and on-road costs. For example, placing a $50,000 deposit on a $100,000 vehicle won’t qualify, as the full price exceeds the cap. Terms, conditions and exclusions apply.

For approved applicants of Volkswagen Financial Services Australia, Australian Credit License 389344. 1.00% p.a. discount offer applies to your standard# Consumer Loan or Chattel Mortgage interest rate for eligible electric vehicles (EVs). The discount applies to the entire financed loan amount. However, eligibility for the discount is based on the vehicle’s base retail price before add-ons and on-road costs which must be under $91,387 (including GST) (Threshold Price). For example, a customer purchases an EV with a base retail price of $90,000 (excluding add-ons and on-road costs). They then add roof racks and tinted windows which with on-road costs, bringing the total financed amount to $95,000. This loan qualifies for the discount because the base retail price of the vehicle is under the Threshold Price. The discount is then applied to the full $95,000 financed amount.
